Checker covers all your packaging needs.
|
Inspects features that other sensors cannot.
Because Checker understands what it sees, it can inspect features that other sensors cant, such as a code printed on a label.
Inspects multiple part features simultaneously.
Theres no limit to the number of part features you can inspect with a single Checker!
Overcomes varying part positions.
Parts on a line typically vary in position, and Checker tracks all of them without requiring precise part handling.

Check it with Checker!

Flawless label detection at 100 parts per second

Industry: Packaging
Challenge #1
How do you ensure a French CD ends up in France and a German CD in Germany?
Checkers part finding sensor proved very powerful in matching the text patterns printed on the CD boxes. Reconcile Engineering tested Checker from Cognex alongside competing systemsChecker beat the other systems, hands-down! Checker was retrofitted onto the printing line within two hours... and, within a short time, a mix-up was successfully detected and rectified.

Challenge #2
How do you count complex clear labels on clear backing when optical and ultrasonic sensors fail?
With Checker, nothing could be simpler. Checker is installed along side a small control unit. A laser pointer connected to a PLC is mounted on Checker, permitting the operator to align the lens with the product to be "learned" by Checker. All the operator has to do then is press a green button and Checker is ready to go.
According to Des Farrelly, Managing Director of Reconcile Engineering;
"It would have been impossible to solve this label counting application without Checker's part-finding sensor. With a successful counting rate of 100 labels a minute, we intend to include Checker as an option on our label counting machines from now on."
Watch as Checker counts labels at over 100 parts per second!
