Inspection AND traceability in one solution

Fuel injectors for automotive engines can only be inspected economically if the inspection cell guarantees  inspection precision plus flexibility for the different types of engine at a high throughput. 

Fuetec GmbH, in Germany, provided an important automotive supplier  with a reliable inspection solution based on In-Sight vision systems.  The high resolution In-Sight 5403 is used for its high image resolution. As each part being inspected has an identifying Datamatrix code, the In-Sight 5110 reads and verifies each code making it possible to trace each part for life.

Vision tools,  PatMax,  for part recognition and localisation as well as IDMax software for reliable verification and reading of data matrix codes make easy work of even difficult inspection conditions.

Keeping German manufacturing competitive

Inter Control manufacture thermostats, thermal links and temperature limiters for controlling and monitoring temperature. In order to maintain their competitive edge and to improve quality, their German production site decided to perform their quality inspection using vision systems .

We are continuing to expand these applications, and our intention is to integrate the In-Sight vision solutions installed here in our affiliated companies and their custom-built machines.
