Checker proved to be the simpler and more cost-effective in verifying the presence of twelve candies in a blister pack.
Checker detects the blister pack, and then positions a brightness sensor on each pocket to determine if each piece is present. The candy appears "bright" when present in the image, and "dark" when missing making the Checker brightness sensors a natural for this type of application.
